FIELD: railroad transport. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has braking shoes with their drive; pole with plungers, that are symmetrically placed relatively to pole. Shoes are located by pairs on pole with plungers over each rail. Shoes are joined by threading with turning shafts in each plunger and are kept from turning by key. Shafts have located between braking shoes rollers with teeth, that are capable to contact with upper surface of rail during braking. Shoes are protruding down behind teeth of roller and have threading of different directions in each pair. Braking shoes with bulges in lower part are capable to conjugate with lower surface of upper part of rail. Shoes are combined and have at least one spring, located between component parts and threading on outer part in relation to rail and second part is connected with it free by axle with stop, that limits relative movement. Apparatus is mounted at least on one last van of train. Pole is capable to turn in the form of rod, that moves in guides. EFFECT: emergence braking apparatus is used in railroad transport. 6 cl, 4 dwg
