FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: feeding step per turn, rate of rotation, ratio of frequency of vibration and rate of rotation, tool frequency vibration are determined and set according to definite dependences and ratios. Holder with tool and body of apparatus are connected to each other moveably in screw and axial directions by springs, mounted at an angle to body butt surface, chosen by dependence and drive of axial vibration is made as asymmetric cam, 3/4 of contour of which are designed for provision of tool vibration in direction of feeding, and 1/4 - for motion in reverse direction.
