FIELD: mechanical engineering; apparatuses for dissolving air oxygen in water. SUBSTANCE: dual-rotor aerator incorporates two coaxial hollow shafts spaced by annual cavity and whose lower ends are connected to oppostely revolving aerator rotors, birotatory driving electric motor having stator and shaft-mounted rotor coaxially positioned above hollow shafts, and air supply unit. Aerator is enclosed in casing which houses outer hollow shaft. Air supply unit is inward-flow compressor incorporating inner and outer oppositely rotating working wheels. Inner working wheel is composed of two coaxial spaced discs having concentric rows of cantilevered blades on opposite sides and on one external side. Discs are rigidly interconnected by means of first inner row of blades common to both discs one of which has no blades on external side that faces electric motor shaft and is connected to it and second disc having central opening is connected to upper end of inner hollow shaft. Outer working wheel is made up of two coaxial and spaced discs having concentric rows of cantilevered blades on opposite sides and one external side. These discs are rigidly interconnected by virtue of first outer row of blades common to both discs one of which having no blades on external side and having central opening faces by its bladeless side upper end of outer hollow shaft and is connected to it. Other disc is linked to electric motor stator by means of first outer row of blades and sandwiched in between discs of inner working wheel. Rows of blades belonging to discs of outer working wheel are positioned between rows of blades of inner working wheel. EFFECT: more sophisticated design. 1 dwg
