FIELD: explosion welding. SUBSTANCE: method involves disposing foil above part to be clad; positioning in succession damping gasket, auxiliary plate, explosion charge above foil; initiating explosion of explosive charge; ejection of foil by explosion product. Method is characterized in that current conductors are connected to foil to heat foil by current pulse, with heating rate exceeding 106°/cs; explosion of charge is effectuated, when foil temperature exceeds alloy glass transition temperature. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and increased efficiency of method. 1 dwg
