FIELD: method of production of potassium chloride. SUBSTANCE: potassium chloride is produced by leaching potassium chloride from flotation concentrate of potassium chloride, filtration of sediment of flotation concentrate and removal of filtrate from the process, dissolving cake of flotation concentrate in the hot mother liquor, vacuum crystallization of potassium and separation of sediment from the mother liquor. After separation of sediment, mother liquor is divided into two flows one of which is heated in surface condenser of the vacuum crystallization plant, then it is mixed with cake of flotation concentrate and the pulp thus obtained is heated in the surface heat exchanger; the second flow is directed for leaching the flotation concentrate. Leaching the potassium chloride is performed during filtration of sediment of the flotation concentrate at a ratio of mother liquor and sediment of from 0.5 to 3.0; then the filtrate is clarified, heated to a temperature of 95 deg. and fed to the vacuum crystallization plant for obtaining enriched carnallite, after which it is mixed with saturated alkali of carnallite at a ratio of 1:37.
