FIELD: furniture industry. SUBSTANCE: polyether, water, a catalyst, an organosilicon foam stabilizer and desired additives are mixed; a toluylenediisocyanate-based prepolymer is added to the mixture containing 20 ± 3 wt % isocyanate groups polyoxypropylene- polyoxyethylene triol containing 10-18 wt% end ethylene oxide groups and having the hydroxyl number of 26-36 mg KOH/g. The prepolymer is added in an amount that maintains the ratio between the isocyanate groups and Cherevitinov active hydrogen atoms at (0.8-1.2):1. Articles of 0,15 ь3 or greater by volume are molded.
