FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: saturating apparatus incorporates vertically disposed housing which has tapered bottom and processing connections, vertical shaft carrying agitator, vertically spaced distributing grates and shaft drive positioned for vibration in vertical plane. Agitator is made in the form of sylphon bellows having hermetically sealed cover at its top and disposed in lower portion of apparatus housing. Apparatus further includes horizontally positioned plate attached to housing walls, located under sylphon bellows, having central opening and forming annular opening together with lower edge of sylphon bellows to provide passage for gas during vibration of shaft. Saturation gas supply connection is associated with horizontal plate and communicates with its central opening. Process of purifying defecated juice should be run at drive vibration frequency coinciding with natural frequency of liquid-gas system formed by solution (defecated juice) and inflowing gas. Resultant vibratory system resonance conditions allow extremely high intensity of mass exchange between defecated juice and saturation gas owing to drastic buildup of hydrodynamic pressure in apparatus, high dispersion of gas in entire volume of liquid and cavitation processes.
