FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: level of charge filling is at regular intervals lowered to furnace horizon at a temperature of 600-650 C. The lowering is effected when in the charge layer being 1.5-2.0 m apart from the usual filling level the zinc contents turns out to be 7-10 times higher that in the disposed blast furnace dust. EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced operating costs.
