FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes charging of iron ore charge through blast-furnace top, heating, reduction and melting it, tapping of pig iron and slag. Iron ore part of charge is used in form of sinter and low-basic titanium-containing nonfluxed pellets. In this case, if content of pellets in charge amounts to 10-20%, they are charged into zone distant from furnace periphery at (0.25-0.50)R; and with content of pellets amounting to 21-30%, they are charged to zone at distance up to 0.50R from furnace periphery, where R is furnace top radius.
