FIELD: non-ferrous materials metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing raw materials and fluxes, blend smelting to produce slag and metal containing melt, melt cooling and gold extraction. Sulfur and arsenic are removed from raw materials before their mixing with fluxes. Product mixing is accompanied with liming and adding silicate fluxes in amounts ensuring CaO/SiO2 ratio in the initial blend exceeding 1, the balance being gold-bearing raw material. Smelting is carried out until complete melting. EFFECT: refractory gold-bearing sulfide material processing. 1 tbl
