FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: roller bearing unit has bearing 1 fitted on shaft 2 of inner drum 3. The outer race of the bearing is set in flange sleeve 4 which is received in opening 5 of hub 6 of fixed case 7. Bearing bushing 10, which is spring-loaded with spring 9, abuts against the face of flange sleeve 4 through bearing 8. Thrust race 11 is fitted on shaft 2. Flange sleeve 4 is detached from additional hub 6 of additional fixed case 7 and the bearing unit with flange sleeve 4 is removed from opening 5 moving it along shaft 2 to the left. In so doing thrust bushing 10 moves along shaft 2 to the left under the action of spring 9 and enters opening 5 of additional hub 6 for abutting against race 11. As the result, inner drum 3 is fixed with respect to additional fixed case 7. After repairing flange sleeve 4 with the bearing unit is inserted in opening 5 of additional hub 6. In so doing the face of flange sleeve 4 acts on faceplate 10 and projects it from additional hub 6 by pressing spring 9. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
