FIELD: dairy cattle breeding. SUBSTANCE: milk yielding capacity is estimated during two successive morning milkings. Then a certain limited portion of milk is obtained by hand stripping. Estimation should rely on intensity and adequacy of reaction to stress effect of the second milking relative to that of the first one. Said reaction is determined by the amount of secreted fat and concentration of fat and lactose in milk produced by machine milking and concentration of fat in milk produced by hand stripping. Stress is created by incomplete preparation of udder with time-compensated delay of application of milking apparatus and by the presence of outsiders. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 tbl
