FIELD: consumer's goods. SUBSTANCE: walking stick-seat has rod with anti-skid device fixed on one end and provided with retainer and with adapter member secured on opposite end. Flat handle mounted on adapter member shaft may be conformed into seat. Rod is made composite, with telescopic parts. Lower telescopic part has captive nut and discrete annular recesses arranged along its length and adapted for receiving retaining balls, with space between annular recesses being equal to space between captive nut base and threaded portion leading part, which is engageable with captive nut and disposed on lower part of upper telescopic part. Threaded portion is formed as helical sleeve with circular opening for receiving retaining balls. Handle-seat pivotally fixed on other end of upper telescopic part by means of bracket is engageable with profiled plate, which is positioned in bracket and provided with mutually perpendicular openings for receiving spring-biased retainer rod mounted in handle-seat side, which is disposed below, when handle is used as seat.
