FIELD: production of ozone. SUBSTANCE: dielectric barrier 1, that can be preliminarily charged, is continuously moved in tangential direction at a linear velocity. A constant potential difference is applied to electrodes 2 and 3. The method is accomplished with the aid of an apparatus having flat electrodes 2 and 3, connected to high-voltage power source 4, and dielectric barrier 1 placed between them and made for disk rotation. The above electrodes make up an even number of pairs, each subsequent pair being connected to a DC source with an alternating polarity. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 3 cl, 2 dwg
