FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: crosshead bushing 9 is interposed between the bearing surface of cylindric crosshead 3 and cylindric guide 4. The bushing is coupled with crank 8 of its drive through ball pivot 10. When crank 8 rotates, bushing 9 performs complex movement along the axis of cylinder 1 and over its periphery. As the result, peak friction coefficient in crosshead-guide pair, which arises at the end positions of crosshead 3, decreases. A mechanism for gas distribution of the piston machine can be made as slide bushing 13. In so doing, bushings 9,13 can be made in block. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 2 dwg
