FIELD: shoe making industry. SUBSTANCE: a sole has a chamfer, made in a toe portion of the sole along a perimeter of its walking surface. A horizontal projection of the chamfer on a resting surface is less or it is equal to three thickness values of the sole; its height is less or it is equal to the thickness value of the sole. The thickness value of the sole is measured near a base of the chamfer. EFFECT: enhanced serviceability of shoes with such sole. 2 cl, 4 dwg
