SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes first carrying out myolysis of musculus quadriceps femoris along muscular sulci from mid third of femur to base of patella and its manual extension, bringing patella to its normal anatomic position, suturing lateral and medial heads to straight muscle, isolating patellar ligament from cicatricial tissues, molding transverse duplication from this ligament for fixation, and finally suturing edges of tendinous aponeurosis above this duplication.
