SUBSTANCE: phase shifter has first section of transmission line whose leads are input-output elements of phase shifter connected to first leads of first and second quarter-wave sections; second section of transmission line parallel to first one and first, second, third controlled elements, second section of transmission line whose leads are connected to second leads of first and second quarter-wave sections and through newly introduced third and fourth sections, to some electrodes of first and second controlled elements, respectively, whose other electrodes are connected to common bus; third element is cut in open circuit made in center of section between first and second quarter-wave sections; lengths of third and fourth sections of transmission line are found from condition l<λrange /4, where λrange is wavelength of line at intermediate frequency of operating range. Second and third sections of transmission line may have higher wave impedance in their center portion. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 1 dwg
