FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: weldable steel has additionally titanium, chrome and nickel at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: carbon 0.09-0.18; manganese 1.2-1.9; silicon 0.1-0.5; aluminium 0.02-0.10; titanium 0.02-0.10; vanadium 0.02-0.10; boron 0.002-0.006; molybdenum 0.05-0.3; nickel 0.3-0.9; chrome 0.3-0.9; yttrium 0.001-0.008, and iron - the rest. Ratio of elements must be: . Steel shows high strength properties, high impact elasticity at negative temperatures, high plasticity, increased uniformity of properties (high value of properties at Z-direction). Steel can be used in machine engineering and building industry. EFFECT: improved properties of steel. 2 tbl
