FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: method provides for flat rays projecting on measuring surface. Rays are directed at angle of 30 - 65 deg. to supporting plane. Then they take photograph of the rays trace on measured surface by photographic camera, optical axis of which is directed perpendicularly to the supporting plane, on which coordinate grid is applied. The operation is made during illumination of foot, placed on optically contrast plane, by dispersing light from source with power, less than power of flat rays source. Determination of foot dimensions is exercised using contours of foot image on supporting plane, perimeters of foot sections - using photography, heights of sections - using given formula.
