Abstract RU 2031721 C1

FIELD: food comminution. SUBSTANCE: chunks of raw material to be comminuted should be fed along straight line trajectories to the zone where a cutting member acts to implement the method. The cutting member has immovable grid 4 and movable cutter 5. Then near surface layers of chunks of the raw material should be pressed into openings 7 of grid 4. Further on the material should be kept in openings 7 of the grid up to the finish in cutting off of the pressed layers. The chunks are fed to the zone where cutting member acts using a pusher. Parts of chunks adjoining grid 4 are moved reciprocally after any cutting off of layers pressed in openings 7 of grid 4. Comminuting device has casing 1 with a hopper for loading the chunks, the pusher, cutting member in the form grid 4 secured in casing 1, and cutter 5 adjoining the grid and enabling moving. In so doing openings 7 in grid 4 are in the form of truncated polyhedrons or rotary bodies. Cutter 5 is double- edged, and provided with a drive to ensure its moving in oscillating mode.
