FIELD: building bricks production. SUBSTANCE: device to produce building articles is provided with a cam coupled kinematically with a contour follower, and with a rest interacting with it. The rest is positioned on a slide bar. The contour follower has surfaces to keep a punch when die bottom is removed from the area of moulding to provide keeping the punch on the article being moulded and to withdraw the article from the die with die bottom is movable along horizontal plane. Drive is made as a single unit for kinematically coupled contour follower, loading device and die bottom. Besides, the drive may be made in the form of a couple of gear connected to the contour follower, with rollers of the gears provided with toothed members, as well as lower and upper racks connected properly to die bottom and loading device.
