FIELD: tramway engineering.
SUBSTANCE: superstructure of the railway track, in particular, shock-absorbing under-rail profiles for tram tracks. The profile is made in the form of a bracket-like axisymmetric profile with a flat base. Lateral longitudinal edges of the profile are bent up and inward with the possibility of wrapping and mating with the longitudinal edges of the rail base. The profile is made by pressing from rubber crumb and a melt of thermoplastic polyolefin or a mixture of thermoplastic polyolefins, with the following ratio of initial components, wt.%: rubber crumb - 75-85; polyolefin or mixture of polyolefins - 15-25.
EFFECT: increased manufacturability of the rail profile manufacturing.
