FIELD: army, police. SUBSTANCE: bullet-proof vest protecting layer is made of inner and outer layers. Inner layer is made of armour members, overlapping each other by horizontal edges. Outer layer is made of armour members, overlapping each other by vertical members. In the case, overlappings of inner layer horizontal armour members edges are located over corresponding overlappings of outer layer armour members. Armour members are situated in fabric pockets, fixed to supporting base or pockets with armour members of inner layer and with armour members of outer layer upper part are fixed to supporting base and pockets of the rest outer armour members are fixed to pockets of overlaying armour members of inner layer. In the case, inner layer armour members are made in the form of strips of material, made of polymer and several layers of high-impact fabric and their vertical edges are made flexible, serve as vertical links and are sewed by thread seam.
