FIELD: medicine, particularly surgery. SUBSTANCE: after dissection of pathological tissues of ingrown nail with all adjacent nail-forming tissues, operative wound is subjected to plastic surgery, leaving nail edges of wound open. Average term of treatment 10 days. EFFECT: preventing recurrence of disease and possibility of ambulatory treatment.
