FIELD: medicine; surgery; taking care of grown-in nails. SUBSTANCE: as nail-body grows into soft tissues and in case of hypergranulations in soft tissues of nail-wall, surgeon must proceed to partially peeling-off of lateral and hidden edges of nail-body down to its root to peel off nail matrix, matrix groove and nail-wall. Next hypergranulated zones of soft tissues of nail-wall are excised, followed by introducing delimitation plate into wound channel thus-formed. Proposed method makes it possible to enhance efficiency of treating grown-in nails by restoring normal anatomic relationships between nail and tissues surrounding it. EFFECT: more efficient treatment; prevention of relapses.
