SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes treating zone maximum tenderness by short-pulse bipolar currents at pulse-repetition rate of 6 to 120 Hz, output current negative pulse duration of 20 to 500 mcs and amplitude of up to 50 mA and additionally simultaneously with impulse low-frequency electromagnetic field at pulse repetition rate of 20 to 120 Hz and intensity of field in zone of therapy of 0.01 to 10 V/cm. Apparatus incorporates anesthetic electric stimulator, active electrode connected to minus terminal of electric stimulator and passive electrode connected to plus terminal of electric stimulator, source of impulse low-frequency electromagnetic field, capacitor plate shaped as flexible dielectrically isolated ring inside which is disposed active electrode having contact with patient's skin surface.
