FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes local effect on biologically active points by electromagnetic field with mainly electrical component, pulse repetition frequency of 220 Hz, intensity in zone of effect of 0.1-10 V/cm, and time of exposure equal to 10-60 s. Device has pulse low-frequency voltage generator with stimulation member connected to it. Stimulation member is represented by two hollow dielectric cylinders secured coaxially one inside the other. Cylinders are free to move relative to each other. Internal cylinder is secured in handle on one side, and electrode in the form of tablet is positioned on the other side of it. Electrode is coated with dielectric on the side of effect, and on the other side it is connected to generator by means of conductor through hollow of internal cylinder and hole made in handle.
