SUBSTANCE: centrifuge for separation of slurry of mainly molten metal has a vessel for slurry, filter formed by two cone-shaped plates facing each other with the larger bases, the upper plate has slurry intakes, tubular rotor rigidly connected to the upper plate of the filter, spring-loaded shaft located inside the rotor with an annular gap, connected to the lower plate of the filter, mechanism for vertical movement of rotor with filter, having screw guides and a cross-piece moving on it, installed in bearings on the rotor, plate opening mechanism and rotor rotation drive. The crosspiece has an annular groove located between the bearings, it is provided with a union used for supply of gas inside the groove, the rotor wall has at least one opening for passage of gas to the rotor space to press out slurry from the rotor lower part inside the filter at upward motion.
