FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: centrifuge contains a melting bath; a filter consisting of two tapered plates with the formation of filter cavity and with windows; a disk with the formation of filter slots with plates, rotation and immersion drives of filter, a ring-shaped screen is fixed on filter disk. Radius of inner screen ring is 1.1-1.2 times larger than radius of loading windows envelope, and radius of outer screen ring is 1.3-1.4 times larger than radius of unloading windows envelope. Radius of disk's enveloping holes is 1.4-1.5 times radius of loading windows envelopes. Radius of outlet windows envelope is greater than radius of loading windows envelope in 1.2-1.6 times.
EFFECT: increasing the separation efficiency of finely divided solid crystals from the melt of light metals and improving the quality of liquid phase.
