FIELD: rolling equipment. SUBSTANCE: one of joint heads of a spindle is monolithic with a coupling for joining with a stem portion of a roll. The coupling has a radial opening, in which a stopper, spring-loaded from a rotation axle, is mounted. An annular yoke is put on the coupling; the yoke has a cone turning in its inner surface, being opened by its base to one of end parts, and an annular protrusion in its outer surface. The yoke is spring-loaded towards a rest by its end portion, to which the cone turning is opened. Jaws with limiters are secured to a seat of the spindle in such a way, that between the jaws the annular protrusion of the yoke is placed. An interval between the limiters of each jaw corresponds to a stroke motion of the rolling stand. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of spindle joints. 2 cl, 4 dwg
