FIELD: edger and universal stands of rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: stand with edge rolling rolls includes frame mounted on foundation, gear stand mounted in the above mentioned frame and joined with changeable rolling stand by universal spindles with upper and lower heads connected by shafts with spline joints. Stand also includes mechanism for moving lower heads, for example, pneumatic cylinders freely mounted on spindle shafts. Bodies of pneumatic cylinders are rigidly joined with bodies of upper heads, their rods are rigidly joined with lower heads. Spindles are provided with stoppers rigidly connected with gear stand and mounted freely in turnings of upper heads with a possibility of fixation against their axial motion, and locking members mounted in lower heads of spindles and inlet into turnings of spindle shafts. In variant, stand has locking members mounted in covers of pneumatic cylinders and inlet to turnings of rods of pneumatic cylinders. EFFECT: simplified design and change of rolls. 3 cl, 4 dwg
