FIELD: rolling production. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for taking-up clearances between coupling members is mainly used in nonreversible lines of rolling mills main drive and has driving and driven coupling members of main drive line, for example, head, hinge holder with lid and spring located in axial groove of head. Apparatus is distinguished by the fact, that to increase reliability and durability of spindles hinges and to decrease dynamic loadings in lines of main drive lid is made with central hole and has supporting guide mounted in the hole with capability to turn and to be fixed. In the case spring of rotation is used and its ends are rigidly fixed correspondingly in supporting guide and in head. EFFECT: apparatus is cost-effective.
