FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, sheet rolling. SUBSTANCE: shaft coupling of spindle is related to drives of rolling mills. It is composed of two half-couplings (one of them is not shown). One of the is provided with toothed flange on one side, has recess to accommodate neck of shaft with two-flat joint located in it, is fitted with two wedge-shaped levers hinged to surface of half-coupling. Body of half-coupling has two holes for accommodation of stops joined to levers. Two paired rings are arranged above wedge-shaped levers, one of them is equipped with centering wedges, the other one - with stoppers. Axial spacing springs are positioned between rings. Each of springs is fitted with limiter. Wedge-shaped levers may be spring-loaded. EFFECT: elimination of radial clearances in joint half-coupling-shaft shank, provision for alignment in this joint and prevention of vibration of spindle. 2 cl, 3 dwg
