FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: car for an intermediate ladle has the same body with a drive unit for its reciprocation motion and a frame for placing the intermediate ladle with a drive assembly for lifting it, being jointly articulated by its one edge with end portions of longitudinal levers and being rested upon shaped guides by rollers; that provides simplified structure of the car and increases its operational reliability. Upon changing of mass of a metal in the intermediate ladle, such structure of the car eliminates skewing of casting nozzles of the ladle relative to a crystallizer, preventing metal outbreak and enhancing ingot quality.
