FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for continuous casting of metals has a rectangular crystallizer, a mechanism for the reciprocal motion of the crystallizer, and a vertical rectilinear roller section attached to the lower face of the crystallizer. It also has a curvilinear bent roller section, a radial roller section, a curvilinear unbent roller section and a horizontal roller section and rollers mounted in the bearing housings. One pair of the rollers in the radial section and part of the initial rollers of the curvilinear unbent section are equipped with dual mangels on the rotational axles. C-shaped guideways are made in the frames of the radial and curvilinear unbent sections. The mangles are mounted in guideways for longitudinal displacement in them. The mangle axles of the neighboring bearing housings are connected in pairs with hinged tractions. One of the tractions on the face side of the sliding rollers is equipped with a lever connected with the drive of the reciprocal motion of the sliding rollers along the sections.
