FIELD: traumatology. SUBSTANCE: damaged tissues are cut out in form of a cylinder which has axis to be directed through center of the head to Adams arc. Bone autotransplant is formed in iliac bone through the whole thickness of the wing of the bone in form of a cylinder; diameter of the autotransplant corresponds to diameter of cut cylinder. Single cortical plate is removed from the autotransplant and it is introduced into bed of femur head in such a manner that treated surface to be in contact with bottom of the bed. If wide damage of femur head is present through diameter and depth, the autotransplant is formed from crest of iliac bone in form of two semicylinders.
