FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves opening proximal end of the femur, supraacetabular area, making greater trochanter osteotomy with superoexterior portion of the femur and muscles attached to it, arthrotomy, economic resection of articulated surfaces, displacing the greater trochanter. Osteotomy is carried out towards the greater trochanter in single plane, from the supraacetabular area from top to down and from back to front including superoposterior surface of femur neck, cutting off and moving the greater trochanter to the prepared plane in the supraacetabular and femur neck area. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; greater surface area of contacting bones.
