PROCESS OF FABRICATING VOLUME-POROUS ANODES FOR ELECTROLYTIC AND SOLID-ELECTROLYTE CAPACITORS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: anodes are fabricated through molding powdery material, containing niobium or tantalum hydride or niobium or tantalum alloys with the powder mass having 0.02-1.2 % hydrogen. The anodes are charged into furnace and sintered at 1000-1750 C. On cooling to 100 C the anodes are discharged and subjected to an electrochemical oxide coating in a 10% orthophosphoric-acid solution at a specific current density of 30 mcAg. On oxidation the anodes are washed in desalted water at 40- 60 C for 15-30 min and dried at 130 C for 30-60 min. EFFECT: increased efficiency and higher yield of process, improved quality and durability of anodes. 2 tbl
