FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing anodes of electrolytic volume-porous capacitors based on a valve metal, preferably tantalum or niobium. Porous anode billet is formed by pressing a powder of tantalum or niobium using a pressing tool made of die steel for cold forming. Billet is sintered and anodized in solutions of mineral acid with an oxide dielectric film of a given thickness applied to the surface of the billet. Anodized billet is treated with an acid solution to dissolve the anodic film on the outer surface of the billet and re-anodized in the acid solution to obtain a given film thickness. After anodization, acid treatment and re-anodization, the billet is washed with distilled water and dried at a temperature of 100–130 °C.
EFFECT: invention ensures the preservation of a high specific charge of the capacitor while reducing the leakage current 2,4–8,9 times due to the reduction of the anode contamination with the material of the pressing tool.
