FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has two tanks 1 and 2 filled with circulating gaseous or liquid coolants with different heating temperatures T1 and T2 and O1. Bottom tank 1 has rotor shaft 3 mounted on support 4 and carrying on its hub heating elements 7 capable of reversible heat expansion in redial direction, their ends mounting rollers 8 arranged in space between internal concentric rings 9 of stator and external stator ring 10, both attached to disk 11 fixed to engine baseplate 5. Rotor and stator are mounted eccentrically and their axes 0 and 01 are parallel. Bottom and top halves are placed, respectively, in tanks 1 and 2 which causes different heating of thermal elements and their different thermal expansion. Rollers 8 rest on surfaces of stator external or internal rings imparting force F to them whose vector acts through stator axis 01 on roller and imparts torque FR to rotor at arm R relative to rotor axis 0 since stator and rotor are mounted eccentrically. Engine version with thermal elements on the form of bimetal strips affords radial displacement of rollers through longer distance as these strips bend. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
