FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: gravity and hydrostatic forces as well as a temperature difference at different layers, e.g., in ocean or thermal water, are used simultaneously to convert energy. To do this, a close-loop long carrying link is used. The link is provided with two vertical parts from both of the sides and symmetry with respect to the axial vertical line. The carrying link is fully submerged into the fluid having a lower temperature at its bottom layers and higher temperature at its top layers. The carrying link is free to move, a given shape of the link being conserved. The link moves along its closed-loop line and, thus, along the axial vertical line at the same distance from the vertical. Heat conductors are secured to the carrying link at the same distance from each other. The heat conductors has members which change their shape or size with a temperature. The heat conductor members are provided with loads and floats. The specific weight of the loads is greater than that of the fluid and specific weight of the floats is lower than that of the fluid. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 3 dwg
