FIELD: meteorological instruments. SUBSTANCE: device has light pulse source and photo transducer which are connected in series through optical system. In addition device has accumulating capacitor, comparison unit, pulse counter, reference power supply which is connected to second input of comparison unit, and discharging switch which is connected to output of comparison unit. Output of comparison unit is connected to accumulating capacitor while another input of pulse counter is connected to light pulse source and output of pulse counter serves as device output. Matching amplifier (source repeater), dividing capacitor, comparison unit, waiting multivibrator, output switch and permanent light source are introduced to accomplish the goal of invention. Permanent light source is connected to photo transducer via optical system and is positioned opposite to said photo transducer. Input of source repeater is connected to output of transducer and input of output switch is connected to output pulse counter. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 1 dwg
