FIELD: microwave technique. SUBSTANCE: microstrip microwave midget module has cup-shaped metal case, cover, coaxial connectors, dielectric plate mounted at case bottom whose side not adjacent to case carries microwave circuit components. Space between dielectric plate and bottom of metal case is coated with layer of dielectric binding material having dielectric constant higher than that of dielectric plate material; metal case bottom functions as current-conducting microwave screen for microwave circuit components. EFFECT: simplified design, improved electrical and mechanical connections between metal case bottom and conducting microwave screen, eliminated stray capacitances and stray system pickups between screen and bottom of case. 2 dwg
