FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: concentrator has horizontal cylindrical housing provided with systems for supplying initial fluid and discharging concentrated solution and secondary vapor and heater. The concentrator is provided with torus-like members positioned inside the housing and having closed central part and driving drum which is positioned in the central space and interacts with the torus-like members through belts. The members are mounted for permitting axial synchronous reciprocation and to define two periphery and central spaces. One ends of the belts are connected with the central part of the members. The other ones are wound on the drum from different sides. The heater is positioned at the bottom part of the housing. The systems for supplying initial fluid and discharging the concentrated solution and secondary vapor are in communication with the periphery spaces. The central space is filled with a fluid.
