FIELD: hydraulic engineering structures ensuring well drilling on continental shelf. SUBSTANCE: drilling offshore platform includes body in form of pontoon on which derrick is installed. Located on the body sides are axles round which columns made in form of rockers ending in wheel are turned by means of winches. Platform is delivered to shallow water location and rockers are turned by means of winches to touch bottom ground with wheels and then, body is elevated from the water to its operating position, and drilling is started.
