FIELD: jewelry making industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mechanically polishing corundum, applying on it a film of a metal, capable to forming a spinel, and heat treatment of it at 1000-1300 C in oxygen atmosphere over 0.5-2 hours; upon deposition process using respective screens and repeating a process multiple times for one or several zones of corundum of one or different metals for providing a polychrome dyeing and a predetermined color pattern. At deposition of cobalt and ferrum with use of a lattice screen corundum, having lattice-type distribution of intensive blew and orange dyeing, had been produced.
