METHOD FOR CORRECTING FUNCTIONAL STATUS OF ORGANISM Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, veterinary and biology. SUBSTANCE: this method for correcting functional status of organism prescribes exposing biological test subject to induced electric field set up by applying impulse alternating voltage, assessing physiologically significant changes in organism, setting up induced electric field by application of impulse alternating voltage either in the form of harmonic oscillations or bipolar field intensity pulses at repetition rate of 150 to 250 Hz and electric field strength of 1 to 100 kV/m, keeping test subject within electric field zone during 1 to 120 min, generating pulses at frequency of 5 to 50 kHz, and repeating exposure to electric field according to physiologically significant changes that occurred in organism under treatment. Disclosed method may be successfully employed as either basic or auxiliary component for stimulation, sanitation and treatment of organisms of either human beings or animals exhibiting reduced resistance to action of diverse damaging agents and for improving working capacity, activity and capability of withstanding great stresses.
