FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: door structure has door leaf, comprising framework with at least one intermediate member. The framework forms skeleton with at least one member that has a curvilinear section. The leaf has also panel-type filling. The door is characterized by the fact, that curvilinear section has constant and/or variable radius of curvature with the maximum value of which being higher than width of panel attached on the side of curvilinear section. In so doing, at least one skeleton member having curvilinear section is of variable height. An expression is presented to determine the height. The method for making the door is characterized by the fact, that pattern cutting and/or cutting at least one member of the framework is carried out reducing the height of the member by at least not more than half height by forming at least one curvilinear section with constant and/or variable radius of curvature. In so doing, the radius is predetermined higher than the width of the panel being measured in the process of door manufacturing at least in the area where it is joint to skeleton member on the side of curvilinear section. EFFECT: highly effective manufacturing method. 71 cl, 30 dwg
