FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: there are four options for making panel-type door. The door comprises panel-type filling of different-size panels with at least the lower one being solid, framework and at least one intermediate member all forming a skeleton. Optimum dimensional relations between areas of structural elements allowing one to ensure rational material redistribution between the skeleton and panels, providing stiffness and concurrently increased technological and ecological parameters and durability are presented. Methods for door making includes sorting, trimming and/or drying, cutting initial material to form coarse workpieces, cutting off against dimensions of framework elements and panels, mounting the framework to form a skeleton, and installation the panels into the skeleton, cutting in, preparation and/or installation of hinges, locking fixture and handles. Rational material redistribution between the framework and panels, and meeting above conditions for door elements are taken into account when cutting, and cutting off. EFFECT: rational material use. 4 cl, 22 dwg
